Are you interested in creating new education programs?
If you have attended an education program, taken a certification exam, written specifications, performed construction administration, participated in other education classes, or good with English grammar and editing, create great cartoons or graphics, then you have the skills and knowledge that the CSI Education Committee needs. We are looking for good people like you to assist in the many tasks needed to develop some awesome education programs.
Teams are currently being formed to develop new education programs for the Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certificate and Certified Construction Specifier (CCS) and Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) certification exams. The completed programs are to be organized as PowerPoint presentations and will be made available to Chapters and Academic Institutions providing classes for candidates preparing to take these exams. Team members are needed for the following education programs to prepare candidates for corresponding exam:
- Construction Documents Education Program (CDEP): CDT Exam
- Construction Specifications Education Program (CSEP): CCS Exam
- Construction Administration Education Program (CAEP): CCCA Exam
The education programs will be coordinated to align with the reorganization of the CSI Project Resource Manual now underway and includes other pertinent new developments within the AEC industry. Team members will be the first to see and learn the latest best practices in the construction industry, and have the opportunity to implement them in your own practice.
Opportunities are available for volunteers to apply their skills in writing, editing, graphic design, reviewing and PowerPoint layout to lead and/or assist on these various teams.
